Meredith Evans, Adviser
Meredith Evans is the adviser of The Messenger and teaches journalism and American Literature. Her focus is on improving the news outlets at NHS while training her staffers in new ways of writing, podcasting, photography, and design. She enjoys finding new ways to get outside with her family, all things tacos and college football.

Sydney Mulford, Editor-in-Chief

This is Sydney's third year on The Messenger staff; she's excited to be returning for another fun year. She enjoys swimming and hanging out with her friends outside of school. Sydney also likes to read and bake during her free time.

Kevin Xiang, Editor-in-Chief
(He/Him)
Kevin has been renewed for his third season on The Messenger team! This time around, he wrestles with the ordeals of senior year as he takes the mantle of the class he's loved for two years. But when a group of higher education institutions flood him with menacing paperwork, it threatens to turn his life upside-down.

Milly Miao, Managing/Multimedia Editor

Milly is a senior this year. She enjoyed everything she learned from The Messenger last year, and is excited to return to The Messenger this year, particularly to design! One of her favorite things to do is listen to music in the car and go on joy rides. She also loves coffee.

Carter Willis, Copy/Sports Editor

Carter is a senior who enjoys listening to Billy Joel, binging Suits on Netflix, and watching Rev. Raphael Warnock’s sermons online.

Katelyn Wu, Copy/News Editor
(She/Her)
Katelyn is a senior who enjoys documenting life, so working for The Messenger is obviously a perfect fit for her! To further achieve this goal outside of school, Katelyn operates a very punctual Instagram, posts steadily on Youtube, and streams her consciousness on Google Docs. Some things that Katelyn enjoys include libraries, playground swings, and daydreaming.

Anya Biswas, Features Editor

Anya is so excited to be the Features Editor (her favorite section) and work alongside the exceptional people in The Messenger! She plans to make the most out of her senior year before she has to make decisions about her future. In her free time, she enjoys practicing Chinese Yoyo, watching Romcoms, and hanging out with her friends. She loves trying new things like juggling and crocheting. In Journalism this year, she wants to explore different types of articles and new styles.

Natalie Damer-Salas, Opinions Editor

Natalie is a senior who likes to read and find new relaxing music. She plays tennis and piano outside of school and enjoys finding new hobbies. In her free time, she likes spending time outdoors, crafting, and watching early 2000 and Disney movies. Her comfort flicks are She’s The Man, Legally Blonde, and Tangled.

Banee Chadha, Photography/Social Media Editor

This is Banee’s second year on The Messenger. She is a junior and is the photography editor. In her free time, Banee plays softball, takes photos, reads, and loves to spend time with family and friends. She is so excited about all the new things coming her way this year.
